Mr. West joined Five Mile in June of 2008. From 2004 through 2007 at Natixis Capital he was a Managing Director in the ABS Group specializing in the credit and special opportunities sector of the mortgage market. For the preceding four years at RBS Greenwich Capital, he was a Managing Director specializing in mortgages and distressed securities. From 1990 through 2000 at Kidder Peabody and its successor, Paine Webber, he focused on credit and distressed opportunities in the mortgage market. From 1984 until 1990, Mr. West was a Senior Vice President and Manager of Drexel Burnhams Chicago Financial Institutions Group, specializing in credit and distressed opportunities in the mortgage market. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA from Duke University.
